The holidays are a super busy time for everyone with travel often ramping up. And as I’m sure you know, traveling can do a number of unpleasant things to your skin, especially in the winter. For example, greater exposure to bacteria and the lack of humidity in the air, can result in dry, dehydrated, and dull skin. (Ever looked in the mirror and thought your skin looked gray?!) If you’re looking for the perfect solution to keep your complexion in shape as you’re on the go, travel-friendly face masks are a saving grace. I recently shared the new Clay Stick Masks by Olay and brought them to Vermont with me. And I love that the solid stick form makes them a whole lot more convenient to pack in your carry-on bags! Read on to find out which ones you need.

I love the the Olay stick masks because they’re so convenient for throwing into your luggage or even inside a normal-sized weekender bag. The stick design allows for precise application when I want to multi-mask, which is when you can apply multiple masks to different areas of your face. And, they don’t leave a single trace of a mess to clean up on your hands after applying. Below I’m breaking down the different ones that Olay offers.
First, the Glow Boost stick mask is infused with white charcoal, which is known to enhance exfoliation. It serves as an instant resurfacing treatment that keeps my skin looking bright and healthy in just 10 minutes. I like to apply this one all over my face since it always leaves me with a fresh, dewy glow!
If your schedule is often packed leaving you stressed, the Pore Detox might just be what you need. The mix of black charcoal and Kaolin clay draws out impurities and oils. This is great for using in the t-zone if you have combination skin – or using all over for a deep clean. After one session, my skin feels rejuvenated and healthy – and my pores look better too.
If your skin gets really dry when you travel, the Fresh Reset mask is for you. It’s formulated with Kaolin clay and pink mineral complex, which gently exfoliates the skin and clogged pores to reveal a fresher, glowing complexion. I love how it keeps my skin soft and smooth. I like to use this mask around the center of my face, targeting the nose area. It never leaves my skin feeling dry or tight.
Have you tried Olay’s new clay stick masks? What are your travel skincare essentials?
